This trail is part of the Florida Trailwalker Program. It is a 3.2 mile loop. The forest is made up of a mix of cypress strands, wet prairie, and pine flatwoods in the lowlands, and subtropical hardwood hammocks in the uplands. The majority of this area will be underwater with enough rainfall.
Traveling on I-75 South of Naples, FL take exit 15. Go South 4.4 miles on Collier Blvd. (SR 951). Turn left on to Sabal Palm Road, go 3.2 miles, trailhead is on the South side.
